What it’s about. Die Air Force One kommt über dem Gebiet des berüchtigten Bermuda Dreiecks in schwere Turbulenzen. Ein unkontrollierter Absturz droht. Es gibt nur einen Weg, das Leben des US-Präsidenten zu retten: Er wird in einer Notfallkapsel über dem Seegebiet abgeworfen und die Navy entsendet eine Rettungsflotte. Die Mission in schwerer See leitet Admiral Hansen. Doch das Funksignal zur Rettungskapsel sendet nur kurz und führt die Flotte tief in das Bermudadreieck. Als speziell ausgerüstete Tiefseetauchboote die Suche nach der Kapsel aufnehmen, wird die Flotte unvermittelt von riesigen krakenähnlichen Wesen angegriffen, die alles zu versenken drohen.
