Der verheiratete Schürzenjäger und Theater-Regisseur Arnold schläft mit der Prostituierten Izzy in einem Hotelzimmer und bekommt sie, ohne ein frühes Wiedersehen zu erwarten, kurze Zeit später bei einem Vorsprechen wieder zu Gesicht. Sehr zum Unbehagen des vermögenden Mannes, wird die Ex-Prostituierte auch noch für die Rolle einer – wie könnte es anders sein – Prostituierten in seinem neuen Stück engagiert.
