What it’s about. Die Mutter der Detektivin Joyce (Kathy Chow) wurde von einem Serienkiller umgebracht, der jedoch nie gefasst werden konnte. Jetzt, 20 Jahre später, gibt es einen neuen Mordfall in der Stadt und alles deutet auf den gleichen Täter hin wie damals. Auch diesmal wurde dem Opfer die Zunge herausgeschnitten, nachdem es vergewaltigt wurde. Kurze Zeit später wird ein Verdächtiger (Sam Lee) gefangen genommen. Dieser gesteht die Taten auch sofort, allerdings hat Joyce ihre Bedenken und befürchtet, dass der wahre Mörder noch auf freiem Fuß ist und nun sie umbringen will, was sich alsbald als wahr herausstellen soll...
