Vernon Theodorus Blake was an American writer, journalist and occultist. His limited publication are mostly stories of the macabre, offbeat tales of mystery and horror. His novels formed the basis for numerous Grande Guignol plays and setpieces in Paris; some of his works were eventually adapted into films.
