Kan Shimozawa, manchmal auch Shimosawa geschrieben, war ein japanischer Romancier und Historienautor, der vor allem für die Erschaffung der Romanfigur Zatoichi bekannt ist. 1962 wurde ihm der Kikuchi-Kan-Preis für eine Reihe von Werken verliehen, die am Ende der Tokugawa-Zeit und in der Meiji-Ära spielen.
