Waris Hussein (geb. Habibullah) ist ein britisch-indischer Fernseh- und Filmregisseur. Zu Beginn seiner Karriere arbeitete er als jüngster Dramaregisseur für die BBC. Er inszenierte frühe Folgen von „Doctor Who“, darunter die erste Folge „An Unearthly Child“ (1963), und später die mehrfach preisgekrönte Thames-Television-Serie „Edward & Mrs. Simpson“ (1978).
