Christopher McQuarrie ist ein US-amerikanischer Filmemacher. Für den Neo-Noir-Mysteryfilm „Die üblichen Verdächtigen“ (1995) von Bryan Singer erhielt er den BAFTA Award, den Independent Spirit Award und den Oscar für das beste Originaldrehbuch. Sein Regiedebüt gab er mit dem Krimi-Thriller „The Way of the Gun“ (2000). McQuarrie arbeitet häufig mit Tom Cruise zusammen und hat den Actionfilm Jack Reacher (2012) sowie vier Teile der Mission: Impossible-Filmreihe geschrieben und Regie geführt: Rogue Nation (2015), Fallout (2018), Dead Reckoning (2023) und The Final Reckoning (2025).
