A married couple Nisha Mathur (Sharmila Tagore), and her husband Dilip Mathur (Navin Nishchal), purchase a hotel in a scenic locale. In the beginning, no one comes to stay there, however, the hotel soon attracts several young couples; an ex-convict, Deepak Khanna (Suresh Oberoi), who possesses some dark secrets out of Nisha's past; a police inspector (Chandrashekhar), who warns people against staying in this hotel; and a journalist Lisa (Prema Narayan).
