My Offset Diary (2026)

In a world where the future is uncertain, everyone lives with a vague sense of anxiety about what lies ahead. The protagonist, Moe Sakuraba (29), is a woman who has managed to break free from that anxiety. With the motto ‘Live happily in the present’, she has deliberately chosen not to take a steady job. Instead, she revels in her daily life, indulging in heavy drinking and overeating, late-night revelry, sleeping in, and impulsive shopping sprees—all without a second thought for the consequences. This is because she has a secret weapon up her sleeve: her ‘self-styled offsetting technique’, inspired by accounting offsetting procedures. No matter how wild she gets, is it really all right as long as she offsets it?!
