Svetlana sets out to find her adopted daughter, who left to find her real parents and disappeared. At the same time in this resort town, a thirteen-year-old girl shoots her sleeping family, after which she tries to hang herself. A neighbor comes running to the gunshots and pulls the girl out of the noose. The head of the police of the district entrusts the investigation of the high-profile case to investigator Elvira Barayeva.
