Azul is a Mexican telenovela produced by Pinkye Morris and Yuri Breña for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from January 8 to March 22, 1996. Directed by Roberto Gómez Fernández, the telenovela stars Kate del Castillo and Armando Araiza and features the famous orca Keiko in a central role. The story follows Alejandra, a young woman who works at the dolphinarium of an amusement park in Mexico City while studying nursing.
