What it’s about. Ursus, regresa a su país, después de largos años de guerra, para reunirse con Attea, su novia, hija del escultor Clio. Pero al llegar, Doreida, esclava ciega de Setas, le informa que Clio ha sido asesinado y Attea raptada. Ursus descubre que Setas está involucrado en estos actos que, al sentirse descubierto, trata de liberarse de Ursus, pero éste le hace prisionero y junto con Doreida se dirige a las islas Zaas, donde según sus noticias ha sido conducida su amor.
