What it’s about. Adaptación del drama teatral homónimo de Lope De Vega. En plena Edad Media, un cacique no hace más que acosar a una bella muchacha que está prometida a uno de sus criados. La situación llega a tal extremo que, para evitar la deshonra de la joven, no queda otro recurso que solicitar la intervención del mismísimo Rey.
