What it’s about. Años cuarenta. La II Guerra Mundial se encuentra en pleno apogeo. En medio del ambiente crispado, el detective Paul Soames (John Cusak, 'El enigma del cuervo'), llega a la ciudad de Shangai para aclarar la muerte de su mejor amigo, pero sin darse cuenta acaba atrapado en una peligrosa conspiración.
