Entregado a la pintura y obsesionado por captar el fluir de la naturaleza y el temperamento de las gentes que conoce, su vida oscilará entre sus estancias en casa de su hermano Théo (Bernard Le Coq) y sus encuentros con una prostituta (Elsa Zylberstein).
