What it’s about. Santiago de Chile, 11 de septiembre de 1973. Tras el asesinato del presidente Salvador Allende, el general Augusto Pinochet y sus partidarios derrocan al gobierno de la Unidad Popular y toman el poder. Con la junta militar desgarrando el país, Ben y Anna, una pareja estadounidense expatriada, se ven envueltos en una situación inestable cuando el ejército arresta a Eva Araya, una amiga cercana y persona de interés. Como resultado, Anna, apoyada por el periodista canadiense Paul, se une a un grupo clandestino de apoyo a la resistencia, obligada a ayudar.
