Y viaja al sur de España, a un pequeño pueblecito en el que aún se vive una vida primitiva, sin prisas. Allí tiene un encuentro casual con una joven socióloga americana que trabaja orientando a las mujeres hacia una vida más sana y cómoda. Los dos van a comprobar que el amor es más fuerte que cualquier otra cosa en el mundo.
