What it’s about. Nabat y su marido Iskender, un ex-trabajador forestal viejo y enfermo, viven en una pequeña casa aislada lejos de la aldea. Una guerra se ha estado librando desde hace tiempo y su hijo fue asesinado en el frente. Su único medio de supervivencia es la venta de la leche de su única vaca que Nabat lleva a la aldea cada par de días. A medida que la sombra de la guerra se acerca el pueblo es abandonado poco a poco por sus habitantes.
