What it’s about. Pablo Sterni (Sergi López), un modesto agente de seguros, lleva una vida precaria y anodina. Para llegar a fin de mes, tima al señor Cannon (Trintignant), haciéndole creer que su lujoso coche de colección está asegurado. Cuando roban el coche y aparece después medio destrozado, Pablo tendrá que pagar el importe de la reparación (más de 75.000 euros) o ir a la cárcel. La única salida es su primo León (Christophe Lambert), que ha heredado más de 150.000 euros, pero que, desde hace treinta años, vive bajo los efectos del ácido y del culto a Janis Joplin y John Lennon.
