What it’s about. Rain pours down on a seemingly deserted city surrounded by thorns. Wolf gargoyles line the towers. Imprisoned in one of the towers a young woman, Veronique, locked away by her evil step siblings. They are the only survivors of a city that went to sleep for 1000 years, kept alive by an army of clockwork servants. The rest of the city s inhabitants lie around them, the decaying dormant. Veronique has a sister, a wolf sister separated from her at birth. Veronique has always had an affinity with the wolf spirits that live in the forest of thorns and soon she will find out why they call to her.
