Una noche se adentran en el monte y se ven envueltos en una pelea entre contrabandistas, en la fuga Pedro pierde de vista a Simón, mientras se adentra más en el monte, hasta perderse. Al salir, el pueblo está extraño. Y nadie sabe quién es Simón.
