What it’s about. Un grupo de bandidos ocultos en la Serranía de Ronda se dispone a ejecutar a “El Sordo”, el veterano del grupo y una leyenda viva entre ellos. La cuadrilla de 7 bandidos sospecha que “El Sordo” ha cometido la peor afrenta contra ellos: delatarles ante la justicia. Antes de ser ejecutado, el prisionero solicita el sacramento de la extremaunción. Los bandidos no se atreven a llamar a un sacerdote, así que uno de ellos se hace pasar por padre cura, cometiendo un acto sacrílego. Con los ojos vendados, “El Sordo” confiesa sus terribles pecados ante sus captores, pensando que está a solas con un sacerdote.
