El juego original tiene por protagonista a Nana Sakurai, una chica que desarrolla interés por un deporte llamado “Stride”, el cual consiste en enfrentar a equipos de seis personas corriendo a través del pueblo. Nana se interesa por el deporte al ver un encuentro en el que participa el Instituto Hounan, con lo que decide asistir a dicho instituto para unirse al equipo de Stride. Allí Nana conocerá a un grupo de chicos enamorados de dicho deporte.
