What it’s about. En el año 1603, el príncipe Ahmed se convierte en el sultán más joven hasta entonces de la historia del imperio otomano. Éste se enamora de Anastasia, una joven que conoce solo por un retrato que se le ha regalado. Mientras tanto la sultana Safiye (su abuela) para obtener el favor de su nieto, manda capturar a la musa de la pintura y ordena traerla al harén del nuevo sultán. Es en este momento en el cual, Nasya (Anastasia) logra cautivar aun mas al sultán con su inocencia, y después de haber vivido una vida llena de peligros, asesinatos e intrigas, pasa a convertirse en ser la primera mujer de toda la historia otomana en llevar el título de regente oficial del imperio.
