What it’s about. La serie nos trasladará a la era Edo, cuando Japón pasa por una crisis sin precedentes ante la llegada de los Kurofune (barcos negros) que proceden de países extranjeros. Para evitar que tomen puerto en Japón aparece Onigami, un robot gigante que existe desde tiempos antiguos, y repele a todos los barcos, evitando así que los extranjeros llegasen al país. Ahí será cuando dé comienzo esta historia, en un Japón en el que no se produjo la restauración Meiji en el año 1868. El protagonista, Keiichiro Tokugawa, es un hombre que aspira a unificar Japón pese a que cada vez que toca una mujer se pone muy nervioso.
