Nifla po poster

Released in 2013, Nifla po is a documental film directed by Vitali Krivich, running about 55 minutes.

What it’s about. Near the Central Bus Station in the northern part of Israel, in the city of Karmiel, there is a 7-story building surrounded by a high fence with surveillance cameras. About 100 teenagers who came to Israel without families from the countries of the former Soviet Union live in this building. They undergo a nine-month adaptation course, after which they must turn from "Russians" into "Israelis". Excessively long stay in a closed atmosphere produces the opposite effect.

How it landed. With an audience score of 2.7/10, Nifla po has proved divisive with audiences.
