The story follows Victoria San Román, a young woman whose privileged life is shattered after the sudden death of her father leaves her family bankrupt. Believing that powerful businessman Andrés Rivera is connected to her father's downfall, Victoria travels to Mexico City determined to uncover the truth. There she meets Luis Torres, a widowed firefighter and devoted father, and finds herself torn between two very different men as love, revenge, family secrets, and deception shape her destiny.
