What it’s about. Goenkale es una telenovela vasca, producida por Pausoka Entertainment y ETB, que se emite todos los lunes y martes en el primer canal de Radiotelevisión Vasca, ETB 1. Ambientada en un imaginario pueblo costero vasco, el título del serial es el nombre de la calle principal de esa localidad. Emitido por primera vez en 1994, hasta el momento se han realizado casi 3.000 episodios, y es uno de los programas más exitosos de ETB 1. Al principio cada capítulo duraba 30 minutos y se transmitía de lunes a viernes. Luego se eliminó el episodio del viernes. Desde 2004 se emiten dos episodios de una hora de duración todos los lunes y martes. Luego, todos los días por la tarde se repiten episodios de treinta minutos.
