Los años pasan y Perla se convierte en una bella jovencita. Un buen día, su amiga Eva, que tiene un bebé, muere en un accidente y Perla se hace pasar por ella para evitar que su hijo vaya a parar a un orfanato. Además, Perla promete venganza, pero ocurre que se enamora de Tomás, el novio de Eva.
