Criada de forma selecta y educada por Aurora para ser la primera mujer realmente libre para guiar a la humanidad hacia una nueva era, Aurora no pudo ver que Hildegart quería independencia más que ir hacia el destino que su madre la obligaba a seguir. Hildegart publicó diferentes libros y ensayos sobre temas tabú y sexuales, se afianzó como líder de las Juventudes Socialistas y puso en marcha la Liga para la Reforma Sexual en España. El filme examina esta tragedia desde un contexto contemporáneo y explora la propensión humana a matar aquello que más se ama.
