What it’s about. El mismo día en que encierran a su novio, boxeador, por haberle dado un puñetazo sin querer a un guardia, la joven y hermosa Nannina encuentra trabajo como cajera en un cafetería. Tanto el tímido y viudo patrón como un mujeriego vecino se enamoran de ella. El patrón le ofrece poner un mesón a su nombre con la condición de que acepte casarse con él. Ella acepta debido a su situación económica y que regentar ese mesón es la ilusión de su vida.
