What it’s about. Tras la muerte de Enrique I de Inglaterra en el siglo 12, el trono es usurpado por Stephen Cunningham, que afirma poseer la legendaria "Espada de Normandía". Un hombre llamado Ivanhoe regresa ahora después de años pasados en Tierra Santa. Él sabe que el hijo de Enrique I, verdadero heredero al trono, fue asesinado en las Cruzadas.
