Acolytes (2009): reparto, argumento y streaming

Released in 2009, Acolytes is a thriller, crimen, terror and misterio film directed by Jon Hewitt, running about 91 minutes. “Nothing stays buried forever.” — that tagline sets the tone.

What it’s about. La película tiene lugar en lo que, aparentemente, parece un tranquilo barrio residencial, aunque en realidad es un lugar lleno de oscuros secretos. Por una parte, se busca a una joven desparecida. Y, por otra, dos adolescentes, Mark y James planean el asesinato de otro, Gary, que les hace la vida imposible. Sin embargo, mientras buscan la forma de acabar con su maltratador, encuentran el cadáver de una turista canadiense en un bosque. Así, pronto se ven involucrados en una complicada situación que no habían previsto.

How it landed. With an audience score of 5.2/10, Acolytes has proved divisive with audiences. It went on to earn $860 at the box office.
