What it’s about. Mimino trabaja pilotando un helicóptero entre aldeas remotas de Georgia, entre ellas el pueblo donde viven sus padres junto con su hermana y su sobrino. Pero Minino no se encuentra satisfecho con su vida. Tras encontrarse con un viejo amigo del colegio de pilotos decide aspirar a metas más altas y marcharse a Moscú para convertirse en piloto de jets.
