Wutung, un demonio sexual, regresa en otro cuerpo donde se enamora de la chica mortal Hsiao-yen, pero el cielo piensa lo contrario y la chica es quemada en la hoguera y su alma encarnada en la recién nacida Fang Yu-yin. La ira invade a Wutung, y para detener esta venganza el pueblo cercano a su guarida promete ofrecerle una chica virgen al final de cada mes para que se convierta en su esclava sexual.
