Each year, thousands of young dancers compete for the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix. THE DANCE COMPETITION profiles six young finalists, aged 11 to 17, from 5 continents, as they prepare to enter the professional world of classical dance. Despite the injuries and failures, with tenacity and passion, these young dancers will become, or not, future stars.
