In 1954, Thanh, an architect, returns to live in the family house he resided in before the war. He suggests that Quy, a comrade from his regiment and his wife, Hue, share the villa which is too big for just him. As the days pass, the relation between Thanh and Hue is also strengthened, although they first reject the obvious feelings they have for each other.
