Super Sentai World (1994): cast, story & where to watch

Released in 1994, Super Sentai World is an action, adventure and science fiction film directed by Katsuya Watanabe, running about 9 minutes.

What it’s about. The film involves the team-up of five different Super Sentai teams (Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, Gosei Sentai Dairanger, Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, Chōjin Sentai Jetman, and Chikyū Sentai Fiveman), who must defend the planet Earth from the evil demon Emperor Daidas. In addition to the five Sentai teams, the film also features Shiro Izumi, who played Yūma Ōzora in Dengeki Sentai Changeman and Burai in Zyuranger, as Masato, a young man who witnesses the Emperor's weak point with his sister Ayumi. Masato and Ayumi also appear in Kamen Rider World, linking the two movies. The narration was provided by Hironori Miyata, the narrator from Dairanger.

Who’s in it. Super Sentai World stars Satomi Hirose as Ninja White (voice), Five Yellow (voice), Teruaki Ogawa as Ninja Red (voice), Keiichi Wada as RyuuRanger (voice), KirinRanger (voice) and Shun Kawai as Ninja Yellow (voice), among others.

How it landed. With an audience score of 5.5/10, Super Sentai World has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response.
