What it’s about. Easter 1965. Fien de la Mar is an embittered old woman who spends her nights making phone calls to people who would rather not speak to her. Through flashbacks we see her arriving on stage as a young girl with her father Nap de la Mar. We see her as a stage star, on the movie set, as a diva with her own theater... and in her downfall, in the wake of a suicide attempt after her husband's death.
