What it’s about. IMAT (Incident Medical Assistance Team) is an emergency medical team formed to treat patients who are injured on crime scenes. The doctors on this team are often sent to dangerous destinations. The protagonist, Akira, lost his father in a terrorist bomb explosion in his childhood, and he is a doctor with an unparalleled will to save others. Takuma, a detective on the SIT (Special Investigation Team) has the polar opposite personality. He too lost his father in the same incident as Akira. Akira and Takuma tackle problems in opposite ways, sometimes going head to head with each other.
