What it’s about. The beautiful little village called Chuan Fan is undergoing a lively rural development program involving all aspects of village life and many folk practices relating to Buddhism. The two rural development specialists who arrive on the scene to help with modern health plans are well receives by the locals, except for the very conservative Chief of the village, who fears the young men from the city are after his overprotected daughters.
