What it’s about. From 26th April to 16th July 2004 Marillion were joined on their Marbles World Tour by THE boom boom BOYS. Marbles on the Road shows you the polished live show after 3 months of touring - but Colours and Sound takes you behind the scenes to show you how it all works in the first Marillion documentary in over a decade. From the Marbles album campaign, to the album's release and the subsequent tour, follow the band and crew on the road across Europe featuring interviews with the band, staff, touring crew, plus producer Dave Meegan and graphic designer Carl Glover. The 2 DVDs also contain over 6 hours of extra material, including featurettes going into the full story of Marbles - from the music and technology, individual songs explained by members of the band to the artwork. Also included are a band audio commentary, crew diaries and hidden extras.
