At the gay bar they used to go to, they talk about their memories with master Uehara and regular customer Iwamura. Iwamura invites the grieving Fujimoto to a hotel to comfort him. However, she realizes that Fujimoto's affection for Yoshio is deep, so she gives up and breaks up with him.
