What it’s about. With the camera in love between them, the real Mayumi Mitome and the Mayumi in the film are in honest agreement, and there is a freshness to the film that leaves no room for the viewer to question or feel any directorial intent. In the last part of the film, Mayumi arrives at the beach of Enoshima and says, "I'm going to America to swim in this film," and as she changes into a bathing suit and jumps into the sea, she says, "She really went to America.
