Full description: The protagonist of the film is Jerzy Noskiewicz (1932-1989), a nature lover and researcher who didn’t want to work and live in the city. He settled in the bosom of nature, on Lake Świdwie in the Szczecin province. The ornithologist’s nickname among the local residents was "The Sheriff". He examined the local birds himself and with his students since the 1950s. He was a pioneer in the field of bird protection in Western Pomerania.
