Suk-young, a 40-year-old spinster, is kicked out of the house after telling her mother that she will marry a 50-year-old divorced man, and Hong-ju runs away from home because she is angry at her mother for going on a trip with a man. These two people meet by chance, talk about their concerns, and become close friends. Hong-ju does not know that Sook-young is the one who will be her stepmother, and also when Sook-young goes to her divorced husband's house, she runs into Hong-ju. In the end, Sook-young finds out that her college classmate, whom she has had a crush on for a long time but has not been able to tell, also loves her, and she gets married.
