What it’s about. Catherine Bach plays Margo Wells Dutton, 37, a graduate of McGill University in Montreal and now a widowed businesswoman. Trained as a structural engineer, she takes the reins of a multinational corporation, Canoco, for her father-in-law, Marcus Dutton (Robert Mitchum). When she is in Africa, they communicate through satellite-linked computers. Her 16-year-old son, Rory (Simon James), attends class via computer, works on the ranch and is caretaker for the household, Victoria Lodge.
