Released in 1990, Lolita 2000 is a drama film directed by Claudio Papalia, running about 75 minutes.

What it’s about. A young girl, Lolita, runs away from home. After many adventures, she meets Marco, the son of a government official. Meanwhile, Karpov, vice-minister of the Soviet Union, arrives in Rome. In concluding a trade agreement, he is about to be the victim of a colossal scam. Lolita, despite her modest intelligence, discovers the shady affair, all in favor of Marco, something which opens up horizons of lucrative activity. While Karpov leaves Rome, Lolita starts wandering again, venturing further into her many occasional "friendships".
