What it’s about. Zhenbang is a Chinese-British reporter and novelist who grew up in England. When vacationing in Shenzhen, he checks on his family's ancestral home, abandoned for many years. He finds that his uncle and cousin still live in the area, but refuse to live in their family's home. As Zhenbang continues to explore his family's history, strange things begin to happen, and it all comes back to the ancient home. What secrets is it hiding?
