Don Daredevil Rides Again (1951): cast, story & where to watch
1951 · Film

Released in 1951, Don Daredevil Rides Again is a western film directed by Fred C. Brannon, running about 167 minutes. “DARING SAGA OF DANGEROUS DAYS!” — that tagline sets the tone.
What it’s about. Stock-footage from Republic Pictures' earlier Zorro serials was served up once again in this 12 chapter cliffhanger, this time without the financially strapped studio having to credit Zorro creator Johnston McCulley or pay any royalties. Zorro simply became "Don Daredevil" (Ken Curtis), a foppish Easterner by day turned masked avenger by night. Like his not too distant relative, Don wore his disguise in order to battle nasty Roy Barcroft who, under a forged Spanish land grant, attempts to take over the surrounding ranch land.
Who’s in it. Don Daredevil Rides Again stars Ken Curtis as Lee Hadley / Don Daredevil, Aline Towne as Patricia Doyle, Roy Barcroft as Douglas Stratton and Lane Bradford as Henchman Weber, among others.
